There are a couple ways!

1) This way is 'cleaner', but might take some trial and error.

Select the image, go to the toolbar and click on Object, scroll down to "Corner Options". In the Corner Options window, select "Rounded" from the drop down menu. You'll have to play with the radius number until the corners are the right amount of rounded-ness.

2) This is the sloppier method, in my opinion, but should work on the first try.

Select the image AND the rounded rectangle box. Go to the toolbar, select Edit (I think?), and select "Clipping Mask" near the bottom. Click "Make clipping Mask". This should do it, as long as your empty rectangle is arranged on-top of your picture! I say this is a messier method because I've always had problems getting clipping masks to work, plus they muddy up your layers. But then you don't have to fiddle with the rounded corner radius!

Good luck!
