Here's what I've come up with, per their request for a 'distressed' look. What do you think of it? What do you think of the base mark in general? Too plain? Too stupid? I'd like to know :)

I really like what you have going on so far. The only thing that bothers me is the area at the bottom of the "b" that connects to the "c"....it seems a bit awkward. I would rather see it flush with the curve of the "b" until right when it connects to the "c". :)
Also, I really like the colors.
even though i agree that this type of a gruge logo for a church is insane the blue variation is great. i would see this more of a skateboard company. haha
ah, Scott, you are not the only one who pointed that out! Andrew suggested that earlier today! I guess I should do something about that haha!
