Percello Air Logo Roughs
Posted by
Scott Jemielity
Hey Everyone! So here are my 3 works in progress. I would love it if you all could tell me what of the three typefaces you like best, what logo you like best, and what you think about the symbols. I seem to be having the hardest time working on them so they look decent......Anyways, my Percello Air is about simplicity, minimalism, and traveling light. We are all about getting you to the destination hassle-free.
Thanks for the input!

I like the weight of number 3. it says minimalism but it might be too thin. 1 is the best of both worlds saying minimalism but it bolder and not so "quiet". work on the kerning on 1 to space out the lettering. maybe you can play with the A and P sharing the same line together. the right line of the A and the line of the P is what im referring to.
I'm torn between the typefaces of 1 and 3! I agree that the kerning (especially between the L's) could be played with.
3a is my favorite mark; it's memorable and creative. But I think if you tweaked one of the logotypes, you wouldn't need a mark; the raised A is definitely identifiable! I would try to get the base of 'Percello" and "Air" on the same line, though. Currently, in all three, "Air" is on a different baseline. You'd probably have to do that by hand with the pen tool, but I have faith in your abilities! :)
I love the font of 2, with the fluid curly foot on the R. The typeface however needs to be taller and thinner. So, yeah: number 3 with the curl. I wouldn't use any of the symbols--they look too much like Associated Press and Pennsylvania.
Ditto about the curl on the R's!
